Description
Three beaches on the roadless side of the Samaná peninsula, reached by boat from Las Galeras: Playa Frontón under its limestone wall, Las Tortugas at Los Aserraderos, and Playa Madama in its narrow green inlet. $30 per person from three people up, or $40 per person if you are two. Lunch is not included at that price. With lunch it is $70 per person and the crew cooks seafood on the beach — fish, squid, lambí and whatever else the day allows — with white rice, moro, tostones, water and Coca-Cola. No alcohol. Boats leave at 9:00 am. The operator will move the departure if you ask, but recommends nine. The time you get back is agreed on the day with the captain, so leave the rest of the day free.

- You need to be able to swim
All three beaches are reached only by boat and none of them has toilets, shade structures or shops. Departures depend on sea conditions and can be moved or cancelled on rough days. The return time is set on the day by the captain, so this is not a trip to book against a flight or another appointment. Swimming ability is recommended.
Small local operator in Las Galeras running boat trips along the roadless side of the Samaná peninsula — Playa Frontón, Playa Madama, Las Tortugas, Playa Rincón and Playa Ermitaño — plus day trips to Los Haitises and Cayo Levantado and a buggy route through the countryside behind Las Galeras. Boats usually leave at 9:00 am and the return time is agreed on the day with the captain. Seafood lunch on the beach is an option on some of the trips.

Leo is amazing! I booked a last minute beach tour trip with Leo for my Birthday weekend and he was very accommodating. The tour felt very private with only my group and a couple from the Hotel we were staying at. Leo seemed very knowledgeable about the area and the history of some of the mountains and beaches in the area. We did the tour of the 7 beaches which was amazing. One of the beaches was overcrowded and he offered to take us to a quieter nicer beach which ended up being amazing. Some of the beaches he covered was Playa Fronton, Playa Rincon, Playa Colorado, Playa Madame, etc.See this review on Google
Leo is very communicative, he has prepared trips on boat ( whale watching, Bacardi island, Frontón beach, etc. ) or he can arrange for you 8-15 people car trips, transport with his brother Anjelo, very skilled and calm driver ( it is needed in DR traffic :-) ) , so I really recommend to call Leo, if you are planning any route in Dominican Republic, especially in Samaná Region.See this review on Google
