We were a group of 7, 4 adults and 3 kids, and had a wonderful day with prompt service and were able to make it back to the ship with time to spare (and have a gorgeous day that gave us the opportunity to avoid the mass of idiots on our cruise ship)See this review on Google

Patrick Mitchell9 years agoOPTIMA provided us with excellent transportation when needed and also guides great excursion tours. We had a driver waiting for us at the Ferry in Samana where the driver then brought us to our apartment to drop off our luggage and change before heading out to a horseback riding excursion at the Limon Waterfall. I was fearful that this would be too much but they handled all those moving pieces effortlessly. Emilio showed great customer service.See this review on Google

Operating modern, air-conditioned minivans, the company provides door-to-door transfers from major Dominican Republic airports—including Samaná El Catey (AZS), Santo Domingo (SDQ), and Punta Cana (PUJ)—to hotels throughout the Samaná Peninsula, Las Terrenas, and Las Galeras. Led by owner Emilio de Los Santos, the service emphasizes punctuality, professional driving, and customer service. The company also offers point-to-point taxi services within the region and private sightseeing tours to local attractions including Playa Rincón, La Playita Beach, El Limón Waterfall, and the famous Samaná Zipline. Rates are per vehicle for 1 to 4 passengers. Each additional passenger is +$25 USD on Samaná El Catey (AZS) routes, +$50 USD from Santo Domingo, Puerto Plata and Santiago, and +$75 USD from La Romana and Punta Cana. Travel time is roughly 30 minutes to 1 hour from AZS, 2 to 3 hours from Santo Domingo, 3 to 4 hours from Puerto Plata and Santiago, 4 to 5 hours from La Romana, and 5 to 6 hours from Punta Cana.
