Description
A private day by taxi to Playa Rincón, four kilometres of white sand backed by coconut palms and regularly listed among the best beaches in the Caribbean. The day pairs the beach with Caño Frío, the freshwater river that reaches the same bay and has natural pools to swim in a few minutes upstream. There is also a stop at the local cacao house along the way. Lunch is typical Dominican food eaten facing the sea. The taxi and the guide are yours for the day; this excursion is only offered with private taxi.

Accessibility & Requirements
Mostly a driving day with short, easy walks: a few minutes on sand at Playa Rincón and about ten minutes along the riverbank at Caño Frío. Suitable for most fitness levels and for children. The last stretch of road to Playa Rincón is unpaved and bumpy. This excursion is only offered with private taxi; there is no option without it.

With her, we visited Santo Domingo and then spent a week in Las Galeras. A truly amazing experience! The best way to visit and get to know the Dominican Republic, its customs, and its people. We went on fantastic excursions, met locals, and she showed us typical places… and the food… Don't hesitate and give yourselves this opportunity. It's the best way to discover a different country and enjoy a real trip. And if you have little ones… don't hesitate!
