Balance Spa Relax is a massage and wellness studio in Las Galeras, on the Samana peninsula, built around personalised body and facial care. The team works from a menu that runs from deep tissue and relaxing massage to holistic and ancestral therapies - aromatherapy, ayurveda, volcanic hot stones and kobido, the Japanese facial lifting technique - plus 70-minute body rituals and professional facials from the Germaine de Capuccini Timexpert line. Most treatments come in 60 and 90 minute versions, and several are available as a couple in a single cabin. If you would rather not leave where you are staying, the team brings the treatment to your room or villa. Sessions are private and by appointment.

Accessibility & Requirements
Arrive 15 minutes before your appointment; late arrival shortens the treatment time. Phones are kept on silent or switched off. Tell the therapist about any medical condition, allergy or pregnancy when you book. Cancellations require at least 4 hours' notice; later cancellations or no-shows may be charged 50% to 100% of the service. Tips are not included and are left to the client's discretion. The host attends in Spanish.
