Description
A day in Los Haitises National Park, the drowned karst landscape of mangrove channels and limestone mogotes on the west side of Samaná Bay. The boat works its way through the channels to caves — Cueva de la Línea and Cueva de la Arena — where Taíno pictographs are still on the rock, and the mangroves are one of the best birdwatching spots on the peninsula. The day finishes at Cayo Levantado with a typical meal and time on the beach. This excursion runs as a shared departure with other travellers, not as a private trip. Departure is from a dock in Samaná town, and a private taxi from Las Galeras can be added for an extra charge.

The trip to Samana with Flor was a unique and personalized experience. We shared it with locals, making it a truly special trip that I'll always remember. I wholeheartedly recommend it. And as for Samana itself, with its fantastic vegetation and unforgettable paradise beaches like the spectacular Playa Frontón, thank you Flor for planning the trip so well. Thanks also to Ricardo, our private taxi driver, who took us on excursions and explained local customs.See this review on Google
Add #SamanaExperiences to your life!! An unmissable and unforgettable trip! We traveled to Samaná with Flor last October. With her, we visited Santo Domingo and then spent a week in Las Galeras. A truly amazing experience! The best way to visit and get to know the Dominican Republic, its customs, and its people. We went on fantastic excursions, met locals, and she showed us typical places… and the food… Don't hesitate and give yourselves this opportunity. It's the best way to discover a different country and enjoy a real trip. And if you have little ones… don't hesitate! We went with our 6-year-old #AprilExplorer, and it was something she'll never forget! By the way… we'll be back!!!See this review on Google
