With her, we visited Santo Domingo and then spent a week in Las Galeras. A truly amazing experience! The best way to visit and get to know the Dominican Republic, its customs, and its people. We'll start by cruising along the coast to Playa Frontón, a stunning beach surrounded by nature and sheltered by a massive cliff. Its crystal-clear waters and nearly untouched scenery make it one of the most special spots on the Samaná Peninsula. You'll have time to swim, snorkel, and relax on the beach at your own pace. Next, we'll continue by boat to Playa Madama, a small cove hidden among lush vegetation and rock formations. It's very different from Frontón, with a much more intimate feel. Throughout the excursion, you can enjoy every stop without the rush of large groups, since the boat is exclusively yours. Accessibility & Requirements
A shared departure with other travellers, not a private trip. Boarding is at a dock in Samaná town. The park is entered by boat and the crossing of the bay can be choppy. The caves are entered on foot over wet, uneven rock with low ceilings in places. Departures depend on sea conditions.
Viajar a Samaná is a private tour agency located facing the beach in Las Galeras, working with certified local guides for Spanish-speaking visitors. The excursions are private: a boat for two people to Playa Frontón and Madama, the seven hidden beaches on foot with a guide certified by the ministry of tourism and 15 years of experience, the El Limón waterfall by private taxi walking through the jungle and with a local guide, Playa Rincón and Caño Frío with private van service to do the tour, and a 12-day trip through Samaná, Dominican Republic with hotels and transfers included and a personal guide. Los Haitises is the only one done by shared boat.
