Description
A private walking day along the wild side of Las Galeras, linking seven small beaches and coves that no road reaches. The route covers about 3 km of coastal path and cliff track, with time to swim along the way — Playa Caletón, Playa Escondida, the two Playa Colorada coves, Playa Ñiñingo, Playa del Amor and Playa Bremen. It ends at Playa Rincón, where a typical Dominican lunch is served on the sand, and the return to Playita in Las Galeras is by boat rather than back on foot. The group is only the people on the booking, so the pace is yours. A certified local guide walks the whole route.

Meeting Point
Playita, Las Galeras, Samaná, at 9:30 am. The walk starts here and the boat brings you back to the same beach by 3:00 pm.
Accessibility & Requirements
About 3 km on natural coastal paths, over uneven rock, sand and some cliff sections. A moderate level of fitness is needed and closed walking shoes with grip are essential. Not suitable for anyone with mobility difficulties. The return leg is by small boat, so a short wade to board may be needed.

With her, we visited Santo Domingo and then spent a week in Las Galeras. A truly amazing experience! The best way to visit and get to know the Dominican Republic, its customs, and its people. We went on fantastic excursions, met locals, and she showed us typical places… and the food… Don't hesitate and give yourselves this opportunity.
