Description

A coastal walk inside Cabo Samaná National Park, from Boca del Diablo out to Playa Frontón. The route passes the old marble mine and takes in the Garganta del Diablo, where the Atlantic forces its way up through a hole in the rock — the photo stop of the day. It is done entirely on foot, following the cliff paths above the shoreline, and it finishes at Playa Frontón, which sits under a vertical rock wall and which no road reaches. Traditional Dominican food, drinks and an afternoon snack are included. Ricardo is a Las Galeras hiking guide, known locally as El Senderista de Las Galeras, and he walks the whole route with the group. Numbers are capped at ten people and the day is guided in Spanish.

One of the best excursions you can take in the Dominican Republic! Ricardo is a delight and knows every place perfectly. He explains everything with love and enthusiasm and takes you to beaches you'd never find on your own! The 7 Virgin Beaches excursion is absolutely stunning. The route isn't particularly difficult, but it is a long one, though with this guide, the morning flies by! Plus, a truly Dominican meal awaits you at the last beach, and they pick you up by boat. We 100% recommend Ricardo and this excursion; it's truly unlike any other. Here, you learn, get to know the place, and connect with the Dominican Republic!

If you want a unique experience combining hiking and beach time, you've come to the right place! Ricardo is 100% recommended. He's an excellent person, attentive, kind, and always has great advice. The 7 beaches tour and the cave visit were spectacular. You'll enjoy every single one, and my favorite by far was Caletón Beach. At the end of the day, the food was delicious
