The afternoon is in the saddle, riding out to Playa Estillero and Playa El Limón along the coast. $150 per person, for a group of three to eight people. Three is the minimum for this outing to run. Rancho Playa does not take riders up to the waterfall on horseback. The walk is how they do it, and the horses go to the beach instead. The stable has been working with horses since 2015.

Accessibility & Requirements
- A good level of fitness is needed
Three people is the minimum for this outing to run and eight the maximum. The morning is a walk uphill to the waterfall on foot and the afternoon is a few hours in the saddle, so both halves of the day ask for a reasonable level of fitness. Long trousers and closed shoes for the riding. Ask the ranch about children and about riding experience when you book.
Riding stable near El Limón, working with horses since 2015. Rancho Playa rides to the beaches — Estillero and El Limón — and does the El Limón waterfall on foot rather than on horseback. The beach rides run an hour and a half, one in the morning and one at sunset, for two to eight riders. The full day walks up to the waterfall, stops for lunch, and spends the afternoon in the saddle along the coast. There is a sand arena at the ranch for lessons and for riders starting out.

Nicole takes such good care of her horses. They are clearly so happy and well fed, you can really feel the love the moment you step into her ranch. When Nicole greeted us, she gave us a tour. We saw a horse being walked by one of her trainees and she explained that that horse was one that was rescued from the "waterfall hikes." It was clear that this horse was in recovery because her other horses were so strong! The trail itself was so fun and absolutely gorgeous. I'm a beginner and so Nicole and her team made sure that I had a memorable but easy going ride. Thank you again for such an amazing time! And thank you for letting us borrow the hats, otherwise we definitely would have gotten sunburned!See this review on Google
This experience for our family was the highlight of our trip! Nicole and her team were truly amazing. They made us all feel comfortable from the second we arrived. We had 4 adults and 3 children with a few timid riders in the group and Nicole made sure we were all comfortable and paid extra close attention to the kids. There was a hiccup due to a large truck blocking the road and Nicole handled it like a pro. We will talk of this experience for years to come! Thank you Nicole and team for making this Chicago crew feel extra special!See this review on Google
