A full day on dirt tracks behind Las Galeras in a Polaris buggy, with the stops that make it more than a drive: a typical Dominican house and plantations of coffee, cacao and plantain, where you see how coffee, chocolate and cigars are made by hand. Then about an hour on Playa Rincón, a swim in the fresh water of Caño Frío, lunch at the Monte Azul restaurant with its 360-degree view over Samaná bay and Las Galeras, and a last stop at La Playita. $180 for a buggy carrying two people, which is $90 each. A four-seat buggy is $280, which brings it down to $70 a head. Out at 9:30 am from the beach at the Hotel Altra, back around 3:30 pm.

I usually don't write reviews but I really had to this time. Incredible experience with Sea and Sun. I was hesitating as to which company chose since the last time I came in Dominican Republic I had a bad experience in Punta Cana. This time I decided to go with a safe choice. We took the boat off to discover hidden islands and spent the day there. The driver was really friendly and taught us so much things about the island and the fauna and flora that lives here. He also recommended a lot of nice places to roam about and have dinner to. And experience worth every penny. 100% would recommend to any foreigner wanting to discover the island safely !See this review on Google
Stephan and his team are top notch. We took a private boat for a fishing trip and the crew was so kind , patient and helpful with my two kids, including a 3 yo.. from the moment of pick up until the last second.. Professional captain and fishermen crew, great equipment and a comfortable boat and good vibes all around. They really let you spend the day as you wish and tailor it around your needs with complete freedom. We caught 2 huge mahi mahi which we took home to cook, our captain cleaned the fish upon arrival and sent us home ready for dinner. We even had very close encounters with whales and dolphins, had lunch on the amazing playa fronton, and spent a great day at amazing deep waters of Las Galeras. Highly recommended and we will definitely be back! 🙏😎See this review on Google
