Description
A private day to Salto El Limón, the 40-metre waterfall in the hills behind Samaná. A private taxi collects you — from Las Galeras, Samaná town or Las Terrenas — and the walk in is about 2.5 km and 45 minutes along a tropical trail. At the foot of the fall there is a natural pool with time to swim. A buffet of traditional Dominican dishes is served during the day, and the park entrance is covered. The whole day is on foot: there is no horseback option on this excursion.

Pickup at your hotel or accommodation in Las Galeras, Samaná town or Las Terrenas at 9:00 am, back by 3:30 pm. Send your address on WhatsApp the day before.
Accessibility & Requirements
About 2.5 km and 45 minutes of walking each way on a tropical trail that is uneven and can be muddy and slippery after rain. Sports shoes are needed. There are steps and a short steep section near the waterfall. Suitable for most fitness levels but not for anyone with mobility difficulties.

With her, we visited Santo Domingo and then spent a week in Las Galeras. A truly amazing experience! The best way to visit and get to know the Dominican Republic, its customs, and its people. We went on fantastic excursions, met locals, and she showed us typical places… and the food… Don't hesitate and give yourselves this opportunity.
