Description
A full day safari through El Valle, the stretch of coast on the north side of the peninsula that most visitors never reach, with a stop in Samana town on the route. The road in runs through farmland and river valleys and ends at a long grey-sand beach open to the Atlantic. Samana town, the old port on the bay, is the other half of the day. Lunch is included, along with water and soft drinks from the cooler — no alcohol — and a local guide goes with the group. The day runs about seven hours. Departures need a minimum of four people and take a maximum of ten. Available in Spanish, English and German.

Laura Topp2 months agoThis was our first time in Samana, Dominican Republic, and by sheer chance we stumbled upon Marcel and his team at Sunshine Holiday. We booked three excursions and were completely satisfied. On the first excursion, we were a small group of five, and on the other two, it was just the three of us. Simply wonderful! No time pressure, no mass tourism – for us, one of the best experiences we've ever had. We are so grateful and would book an excursion with them again in a heartbeat.
