Description
A full day that puts together three of the things people come to this side of Samana for: the El Limon waterfall, a visit to a typical local family, and a stop in Samana town. The waterfall comes first, with the walk in through the countryside and time at the falls themselves. The family visit is the part most day trips skip — a stop at a local home rather than a staged demonstration. Samana town, the old port on the bay, closes the route. Lunch is included, along with water and soft drinks from the cooler — no alcohol — and a local guide goes with the group all day. The day runs about seven hours. Departures need a minimum of four people and take a maximum of ten. Available in Spanish, English and German.

This was our first time in Samana, Dominican Republic, and by sheer chance we stumbled upon Marcel and his team at Sunshine Holiday. We booked three excursions and were completely satisfied. On the first excursion, we were a small group of five, and on the other two, it was just the three of us. Simply wonderful! No time pressure, no mass tourism – for us, one of the best experiences we've ever had. We are so grateful and would book an excursion with them again in a heartbeat. Such uncomplicated and friendly people. Simply fantastic! Keep up the great work, and hopefully see you soon in paradise! 🌴🥥🐢See this review on Google
